Any new updates regarding Battery Seven will be posted here!Battery Seven is currently ON HIATUS so that the first few chapters can be revamped. The current events of Chapter 1 and 2 are going to be different in the final draft, but the overall plot should remain relatively the same. I plan to upload the newest versions of 1 and 2 together, then work on Chapter 3 as soon as I can. Keiji Black finds himself conflicted as he suffers from amnesia. Within the city of Jericho, the threat of Cryptids, monsters manifesting from urban legends, have been brought to his attention. Keiji hopes to recover the remnants of his past by tracking one down. But after coming into contact with a dangerous Cryptid, Keiji is sought after, and forced into working for the Public Safety Corps.Here, supernatural ability users called Engines work with the shadow government to contain and neutralize the Cryptids. By unfortunate circumstance, Keiji mysteriously gains some of the Axolotl Cryptid's abilities, turning him into a human/cryptid hybrid called a "Battery". With the ability to regenerate, he must now find clues to help recover his memories in order to unveil the truth about himself, the Cryptids, and the many conspiracies within Jericho.
WHAT IS BATTERY SEVEN?
Battery Seven is a passion project created on January 2023 by the illustrator and concept artist RyuLem who hopes to bring their ideas to life through a manga format. Being a huge fan of the horror genre, the story takes heavy inspiration from urban legends and real life cryptids, giving them a unique twist and design!Starting production around 2019 under a different name, Battery Seven has gained a number of fans and has come a long way since.
